Over the course of the challenge, learners apply Step 0 in four of the eight essential skills as they consider: How can we make it better for everyone?

They apply Staying Positive and Aiming High to explore how everyone has different opinions, thoughts and ideas, and how they might use their opinions to make decisions. Then, they apply Listening and Speaking to decide on a set of policies to make their community better and persuade their peers to vote for their ideas, in an exciting election.
